HeyRoasty uses AI models (including but not limited to OpenAI's language and vision models) combined with automated technical tools (Google PageSpeed Insights, accessibility audits) to generate website critiques, scores, and grades.
Please Keep in Mind
- Roasts are AI-generated opinions, not professional audits. They're designed to be entertaining and directionally useful, not a substitute for a professional web design, accessibility, SEO, or security review.
- Scores and grades are automated estimates. They're based on a scoring model we've built, not an industry-certified standard. Two different tools may score the same site differently.
- AI can make mistakes. Findings may occasionally misidentify an issue, miss a real one, or be based on incomplete data (e.g. if a page fails to load fully during analysis).
- Findings are not legal, accessibility-compliance, or security guarantees. Passing or failing a HeyRoasty check does not mean a site is or isn't legally compliant (e.g. with WCAG or ADA standards) — consult a qualified professional for compliance-critical needs.
- Comparison results (in /compare) are relative, not absolute. A "winner" reflects our scoring model's output at the time of analysis, not a definitive verdict on which site is objectively better in every respect.
Reporting Misuse or Inappropriate Content
HeyRoasty is built for analyzing public business websites and landing pages. If you notice any misuse (such as roasts targeting private individuals or inappropriate content), please report it to hello@heyroasty.com. We review and handle all abuse reports promptly.
